SENIOR CITIZENS CHRISTMAS LUNCH
Every year, the Rotary Club of Burnside invites it's senior community to a Christmas lunch event at the Burnside Ballroom
With support from the City of Burnside, over 100 guests were treated to a roast chicken & vege lunch, Christmas cake and mince pies for dessert as well as a tipple or two of wine to help celebrate the festive season.
Our crew of volunteers worked tirelessly on the day to get the venue ready, prepare the food, pick up & drop off guests from their homes as well as serving a meal to these valuable members of our community.
For many, especially in current times, it is a chance to get together with old friends, or maybe meet someone new and there was plenty of chatter around the tables as our guests caught up on all the gossip.
A special thanks to our VIP guest, Mayor Anne Monceux, Attorney-General Vicki Chapman and James Stevens MP for their attendance, and of course to members of the Rotary Club and other volunteers for such a fabulous day.

Congratulations David on your new appointment and our heartfelt thanks to outgoing President's Des Munro and Brett Dalton for navigating through all the challenges that 2020-2021 threw at you and still ensuring that it was yet another successful year for the Rotary Club of Burnside.
